Job Description

Our client, a leader in the SAAS industry space is currently adding a Staff Accountant to their team. This role will be hybrid 3-days in office near Livingston NJ

Responsibilities will in include supporting the month-end accounting close, day-to-day accounting operations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven accounting track record.

Addtl Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cash
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Revenue Accounting
  • Postingdeposits.
  • Prepare, maintain, and journalize prepaid expense schedules.
  • Prepare, maintain, and journalize amortization and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and journalize monthly subsidiary general ledger activity.
  • Prepar tax forms and filings.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting package.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 years of progressive experience in an accounting or within a public accounting audit firm
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or parts passed ideal
  • Strong Excel Skills

This is a hybrid role. Applicants should be within commuting distance of Livingston, New Jersey and able to come into the office 50% the time.
