New York Tech's Office of Academic Affairs seeks a Title III Program Manager, reporting to the Associate Provost of Academic Affairs. This hybrid remote work environment will be based out of our Old Westbury campus and will play a major role in the implementation of New York Tech's Title III project.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon availability and continuation of grant funding anticipated through September 30, 2028, subject to annual renewal.

Responsibilities
    Provide daily management and oversight of Title III project implementation and activities, including coordination across project stakeholders, project advisory council, and the project's
    external Evaluator in completion of Activity Components.
  • Prepare and submit project budgets, including periodic modifications, and financial reports to the Title III Project Director and other New York Tech offices
  • Work with NYIT's Office of Research, Assessment, and Decision Support and the Title III External Evaluator to develop management reports, identify trends, and inform continuous improvement
    for project
  • Create a Title III Project Manual based on the proposal that assures the project follows grant terms and conditions and is applicable to the Code of Federal Regulations specific to DOE and
    GEPA.
  • Ensure project activities are documented in accordance with DOE and EPA requirements through internal funder reports.
  • Partner with the Associate Provost of Student Engagement and Development to research, develop, and implement initiatives and resources focused on student support, retention, and graduation for specialized student populations
  • Partner with the Director of Interdisciplinary Studies program to support implementation of prior learning assessment pilot
  • Serve as a campus resource and liaison regarding emerging trends in student needs, with particular focus on first-generation and other underserved student populations
  • Coordinate campus-wide and other communications related to grant activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years' experience with Title III or other federal grants or equivalent experience working with access and success programs for diverse student populations
  • Experience working with budgets and developing and interpreting management reports
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to work across different functional areas.
  • Ability to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve project deliverables

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
