Practising Law Institute (PLI) is hiring a Marketing Manager, New Business, to increase the number of PLI's Privileged Member organizations across various market segments by providing Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to the Sales team. This role will use email, digital ads, social media, and other marketing tools to strategically find and market to potential Members at scale.

The Marketing Manager, New Business will be a representative of the industry leader in legal training. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, this role will be responsible for driving strategic marketing efforts aimed at law firm partners and associates, government lawyers, corporate general counsel and other relevant professionals and staff to drive interest in PLI products and services to feed our Privileged Membership Program and create Marketing Qualified Leads for deeper engagement.

The successful Marketing Manager, New Business has the ability to envision, create and deploy personalized campaigns, leverages the full MarTech stack to optimize efforts, and works across both the Marketing and Membership team to drive awareness of current efforts and plan new or enhanced efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize CRM data to identify prospects and PLI-loyalists as they move within the legal industry.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to attract the appropriate prospects, generating new relevant leads while also cultivating interest from existing prospects.
  • Use campaign and web analytics to build and iterate future efforts.
  • Build landing pages within our CMS.
  • Continually seek efficiency and quality improvements in processes to improve effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities to enhance our sales and marketing strategies.
  • Track every effort using available tools and regularly report on performance to both Membership and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Participate in Membership and Marketing meetings.
  • Play a key role in growing Membership revenue by targeting NLJ 500 law firms, Fortune 2000 organizations, small to mid-size law firms and State and Government Agencies.
  • Play a key role in providing Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Membership stakeholders to further drive Privileged Membership.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-6 years strategic lead generation experience required.
  • Experience creating drip campaigns, landing pages required, marketing automation experience a plus.
  • Strong copywriting experience preferred.
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS POSITION

$88,000-$95,000 per annum (Exact compensation offer may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills and work experience.)
