Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Experience Design Specialist.

In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for designing and delivering curriculum, instruction, and related learning materials to meet training outcomes as defined by client, with an alignment to institutional goals and key business initiatives. Gathers needs from clients and works with leaders and others on the team to contract for appropriate training outcomes. Ensures the effective execution of training interventions.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Conducts effective meetings with clients to assess individualized training needs. Provides appropriate ideas, materials, and / or resources to overcome challenges
    • Participates in the development and delivery of other OD programs / interventions (e.g., leadership development), including development of curriculum/instructional design, delivery, evaluation, project planning and logistics, stakeholder relationship management, etc.
    • Works in conjunction with OD Specialists and other team members to provide training as part of broader OD interventions
    • Keeps current on training best practice and methodology.
    • Manages training projects in which external vendors are employed to meet more complex training needs for an internal client.
    • Evaluates training, using qualitative or quantitative methods, for immediate satisfaction/improvement, for use on-the-job after completion of training, and for overall impact of training on client goals when appropriate.
    • Employs state-of-the-art instructional methods to deliver training.
    • Partners with leadership or team to design training interventions, using either internal or external resources.
    • Works with senior manager to manage monthly training calendar and course offerings
    • Performs task analysis when appropriate to pinpoint specific knowledge and skills needed for on-the-job performance, in order to create a training program or other organizational development intervention

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in an HR or OD-related field, with minimum of four years of related training experience required. Extensive, closely related and relevant management or health care service delivery will be considered in lieu of previous training experience. Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and communications skills; ability to work with a diverse range of clients; initiative and agility to manage multiple, shifting priorities. Must demonstrate a deep customer service ethic and orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in related field.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.00 - $137,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
