City Experiences is seeking a Concessions Associate for our City Cruises, Statue operation in Jersey City, New Jersey.

About the Opportunity:

The Concession Associate is responsible for assisting the Vessel Concession Manager to maintain their vessel in order to generate sales that will maximize revenue. The Concession Associate will assist in the set-up, daily activities and closing of their vessel concessions. The individual is also responsible for exemplary customer servicing, serving as the face of the company.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing tasks delegated by Concession Vessel Manager such as stocking/re-stocking and cleaning.
  • Responsible for assisting with the set up and closing of the vessel concession each business day.
  • Responsible for assisting in maintaining a sanitary environment and equipment each business day.
  • Responsible for adhering to all company policies such as uniform and cell phone policies.
  • Interact as needed with fellow Statue Cruises crew at all points of embarkation.
  • Must assist Statue Cruises crew in the event of an emergency in accordance with safety drill protocols.
  • Responsible for communication questions, concerns or problems to Concession Vessel Manager and/or supervisors.
  • Must perform cashier duties as needed.
  • Must exhibit superior customer service skills.
  • Serve an information source for customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Previous cash handling/food handling experience required.
  • Requires outstanding communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills are also required.
  • Flexibility to work evening, weekend and holiday hours.
