Responsibilities

Our Houston-based, Project Accounting team is looking for a bright, energetic individual with the requisite skills to join the team as a Project Accounting Assistant. This is a full-time role ideal to someone who has previous experience supporting a team of Accountants.

In this hybrid-remote position, the qualified individual will provide support to the Project Accounting Team through the following responsibilities:

    Data entry, including entering vendor invoices and cash receipts
  • Review employee expenses in Concur
  • Generate reports from accounting software
  • Assist with project maintenance
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Assist with the month-end invoicing cycle
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties and other ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a corporate accounting department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and experience working in an accounting database
