Job Description

Project Manager (employer: Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai; job location: New York, NY) - Provide operational and programmatic oversight for large, complex efforts within the Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine (CBIPM), as well as spearhead improvements to operational business processes. Develop and manage scope, timeline, and budget for large grants, industry collaborations, philanthropic efforts, and internal initiatives. Develop project milestones and deliverables; prepare reports that summarize key progress and issues, including preparation of background documents and presentations to key stakeholders. Facilitate meetings effectively and clearly communicate decisions and action items to team members and relevant parties outside of the team. Escalate issues appropriately and take corrective action as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Business Administration, plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or another project management role. All required experience must have included project management, including finance/budget management, project/small grants proposals, project monitoring and evaluation, and project closure; performing financial and narrative reporting; conducting financial audit of program finances; and supervising project personnel and consultants.
