Remuneration: Exempt

TheSenior Manager, Asset Optimization (Fleet Analysis)will identify, conduct assessments, and perform priority ranking of assets for improvement and optimization opportunities using data analysis skills and tools. Includes existing as well as new assets (e.g., battery storage, wind and solar).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with various internal RWE teams, as well as external resources, to complete analytical evaluations to discover areas of underperformance and improvement opportunities at RWE assets
  • Analyze raw data using statistical methods, data visualization tools, and business intelligence techniques
  • Transform data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations that will drive informed decisions
  • Provide actionable insights to management and stakeholders
  • Utilize statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Determine, measure, and track KPIs and milestones for the group

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, or a related field in Data Analytics

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in the energy industry
  • Minimum 10 years of finance, accounting, and P&L statements/practices
  • Minimum 10 years of experience creating and managing budgets and performing financial modeling
  • Experience managing or supervising teams, including at least 12 years in a managerial or supervisory position

Job Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to understand implications of contractual agreements (e.g., interconnection agreements, off-take agreements) as relates to potential optimization opportunities of existing assets
  • Excellent working knowledge of budgeting, cost management tools, and processes
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of operations, maintenance, and electrical systems, applicable to wind and/or solar-storage power technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams as well as other analytical tools
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time.

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is$104,000.00 - $156,000.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
