How you'll make an impact:

The Corporate Strategy and Business Development team at SiriusXM is responsible for corporate strategic planning and business development initiatives to further the Company's strategic goals. The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development and is responsible for competitive analyses, corporate strategic goals management including our enterprise OKR process, as well as insights and assessments relating to opportunities that SiriusXM should pursue financially or operationally. The successful candidate will be able to prepare presentations, perform financial analyses and generate well-articulated recommendations based on their research and analysis.

What you'll do:

  • Evaluate and provide senior-level guidance on the fast-changing media and technology landscape and its impact on our business.
  • Manage corporate strategic goals setting process and performance assessments.
  • Identify and prioritize key strategic opportunities and conduct build, buy, partner analyses to determine best path to fulfill those strategic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization including with the Programming, Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal and People and Culture groups to identify, evaluate and execute new business initiatives.
  • Prepare board materials and other senior-level presentations as needed.
  • Lead deal execution for investments and acquisitions, including performing industry and company research, analyzing and interpreting financial statements, building financial and valuation models and performing due diligence.
  • Develop business plans and financial analyses that justify the ROI of various acquisitions, investments and business partnerships.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking fields with exposure to media, telecom, Internet and/or technology related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with limited oversight; must be someone who is self-directed, intellectually curious and takes initiative.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking including the ability to understand and analyze business plans, interpret financial statements and develop projections of companies in fast-growing markets.
  • Strong project management and organization skills, to include a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influence skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively present to and dialogue with senior management and C level executives.
  • Excellent research capabilities and demonstrated ability to synthesize and summarize industry research.
  • A keen understanding and interest in emerging media and technology trends and players.
  • Ability to travel locally and long distances as required.
  • Ability to work weekend and after-hours work as needed.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as Google suite and Slack
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $125,000 to $175,500 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
