Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for building and running a fully functional application security and testing with teams in North America and overseas. Ensure security is baked into the application development lifecycle using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Establish security architecture practices to assess the security risk and develop security patterns. Build an application security function leveraging Dynamic / Static application security testing including advance supply chain security testing. Govern the application security testing findings to ensure they are remediated appropriately. Ability to influence architecture, application leads and IT stakeholders on security agenda. Lead a team of pen tester to ensure internal system have adequate security and identified gaps are addressed timely. Ensure that the team has properly documented processes. Meet with auditors and regulators to clearly demonstrate Zelis cyber security processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security (or) related degree and experience
• Ten Plus years' experience in Cyber Security,
• Five Plus years managing an application security and testing function.
• Five plus year of experience implementing security red team and penetration testing function.
• Experience interacting with regulator or auditors.
• Overseeing remediation efforts by IT staff and business line owners experience.
• Performing Information Security/Information Technology risk assessments experience.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent Customer service skills.

Management Experience:

• Experience in leading an offshore team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with regulatory controls and industry best practices such as HIPAA, PCI, CIS, HiTrust, ISO 27001, NIST etc.)
• CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or other relevant certifications

Travel:

• Up to 25% National & International.
