Job Description:

Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Performs general tasks and completes routine assignments. Applies skills to the completion of assigned task. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of routine to moderately complex scope. This role requires judgement within defined policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, Automation, Printers, Strappers, Compressors, and other technologies.
  • Communicate with and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
  • Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on call.
  • Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on facility systems.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm. OT mandatory when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.

Critical Skills:

  • At least 1+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics is required.
  • Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations.
  • Basic understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLC's, UPS systems, compressors, strappers air handling units and CRAC units.
  • Applicants must have flexibility with work hours and days, to include holidays and short notice call-in.

Preferred Requirements/Education:

  • Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is desired.
  • Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience is preferred.
  • Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.40 - $29.00
