Job Summary:
The Experienced Senior, Operational Excellence role will be part of a Management Consulting team supporting projects in the areas of Strategic Planning, Business and Financial Modeling, Technology Enablement, and Business Process Improvement.
Job Duties:
- Works with MC leadership to identify engagement objectives and actively works assigned tasks to support those objectives being met
- Creates and determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats
- Designs new processes by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system and process capabilities
- Improves client operations by studying current practices, designing modifications/improvements to both processes and technology
- Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements
- Forms project team, establishing project budget and other artifacts, as necessary
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation
- Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Works efficiently to keep client costs contained and is consistently cost conscious
- Other duties as required by specific client engagements

Education:
- Bachelor's degree, required
Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in related business function, required
- Client facing consulting experience, preferred
Software:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Proficient in Smartsheets, preferred
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Syteline, JDE, IFS, Dynamics, etc.), preferred
- Enterprise Software Selection experience, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects/tasks concurrently
- Ability to work in a team/group environment and to work independently when required
- Capable of working well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, business process analysis & design, and process flow skills
- Approximately 50% out-of-town travel, include international travel
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
NYC/ Long Island/Westchester Range: $90,000 - $115,000
