We have an exciting opportunity in our Talent Management Department for a highly motivated Assistant, Talent Acquisition in our New York office. The Assistant plays an essential role on the front lines of our lateral partner recruiting efforts working directly with the lateral partner team to support the firm's growth strategy.

In this capacity, the Assistant, Talent Acquisition will:

  • Have a passion for Talent and take an energetic approach to supporting the recruitment hiring process;
  • Correspond with lateral partner candidates and search firms to schedule partner meetings, including conference room reservations and video conferencing coordination across offices;
  • Assist with simulation of information for candidates and interviewers, and collect feedback for review;
  • Prioritize partner candidate experience and be service-oriented with an ability and desire to provide the best service;
  • Be able to handle multi-tasking a high volume of candidates at different stages of the candidate pipeline;
  • Update the applicant tracking system in a timely manner and ensure accurate record-keeping and document management;
  • Work beyond scheduled hours as required, including assisting with time-sensitive requests in the evenings and/or on weekends; and
  • Handle additional related projects, as assigned.

Proficiencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communications;
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information;
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word and document editing/comparison applications;
  • Fundamental proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications;
  • Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications;
  • Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and presentation applications; and
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking Software (preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required); and
  • At least 1 year experience (required); Recruiting/Talent Acquisition related experience in the legal industry (preferred).

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $50,400 and a maximum of $69,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
