POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring the production lines are supplied with correct and needed solutions and chemicals while maintaining an organized and quality documentation protocol and workplace.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Operate DSI Blender, Eductor, Transfer skids, BBU and Fragrance Skids to deliver correct quantities based on production schedule and product quality needs.
* Activate tanks, agitators, pumps and hoses to ensure delivery of finished solutions to production lines in a timely manner both physically and through the system.
* Run and red Lab log reports in accordance to Rockline batching sheets per formulation in order to complete batching records in JD Edwards.
* Reviews and understands production schedule to determine chemical and timing for product solutions.
* Maintains and monitors UV System to ensure water quality.
* Understand and follow the Lotion Tote process and policies surrounding tote: filling, storage, recycle, usage, life cycle, tracking and so on.
* Data entry of chemical mix checks and retain tracking along with collection of samples.
* Managing chemical mix area material inventory through physical verification and data in JDEdwards.
* Perform and document sanitation on all equipment used in the Chemical Mix Area.
* Ensure product containers, totes and chemical mix equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
* Provide leadership and direction to Chemical Mix Technicians on shift. Conduct weekly PBL meetings with team
* Maintain error free paperwork and review other shifts as necessary.
* Maintain, repairs and clean equipment. Ensure completion of all sanitation and work orders.
* Resolve complex issues with JDEdwards, Quality, and equipment by determining root cause and generate appropriate paperwork.
* Process, create and close out workorders for solution completions in JDEdwards.
* Train new Chem Mix associates following documented training plan.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
* High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years manufacturing or cleaning/sanitation process experience or related experience including at least 1 year as a Chemical Mix Technician.
* Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Prior experience working with JD Edwards system.

* Must be able to communicate face-to-face.
* Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to read, write, calculate and analyze.
* Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively in a professional manner.
* Work environment includes frequent fumes/odors and occasional moving mechanical parts and cramped quarters.
* Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color recognition.

Experience
3 years: High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years manufacturing or cleaning/sanitation process experience or related experience including at least 1 year as a Chemical Mix Technician. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. Prior experience working with JD Edwards system. (required)
