This is a unique opportunity to gain broad experience, have significant responsibility for a variety of projects and engage with key decision makers. Reporting to the Manager Sales Planning & Analytics, this individual will contribute in the business planning process. This position will have a role in budgeting and forecasting and provide analytical support and will support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions. This role will focus on delivering accurate and insightful analytics to support effective operational processes and decision-making that drive business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation and delivery of market development fund reviews of key Plan and analyze the Market Development fund process and ensure program commitments are aligned with standard operating procedures and within financial parameters.

Analyze Market Development Funds requests and agreements are aligned with program guidelines.

Assist with annual market development planning process

Ensure timely reporting of Market Development reports including comparison to budget to Director of Sales in each market

Create and conduct semi-annual sales performance reviews for Market Development investments and new store performance on a semi-annual basis

Provide risks and opportunities associated with analysis, budget, and forecast, using an in-depth understanding of the corporate strategy (Strategic Pillars) and the external business environment

Support process improvements and implementation of new planning and reporting tools

Perform account reconciliations while identifying and communicating variances

Review of contracts for budget and forecast impacts

Perform ad-hoc projects and analyses and support strategic initiatives

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. in Business, Data Analytics or Related Field

3+ years of experience required in key functional areas outlined above

General Excel/PowerPoint skills; proficiency with Business Objects and other mining tools; data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Qlik Sense)

Ability to turn business questions into research methodologies

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Passion for solving business problems using data (marketing performance/effectiveness & market research)

Ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers. Takes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work, and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicable

Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment and quickly grasp new concepts by demonstrating and applying knowledge of these tasks timely and accurately

Ability to maintain effective relationships by collaborating with customers by fully understanding and meeting their expectations. Seen as a team player that encourages collaboration and quickly gains the trust and support of peers. Finds common ground and solves problems for the benefit of all

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

This position requires minimal travel on an as-needed basis
