Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Consultant with our client in their Brick, NJ location. This is a a full time position and requires being onsite 5 days per week.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MSP Support Technician to join our team and provide exceptional IT support to our small and medium-sized business clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, with a strong background in managing and troubleshooting IT systems. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a personable demeanor to effectively engage with clients and understand their IT requirements. The role will involve proactively monitoring and maintaining clients' IT infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and implementing new IT solutions. The candidate should also be available for on-call hours one week a month to address any urgent client needs outside of regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for clients' IT systems and applications.
- Proactively monitor and maintain clients' IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new IT solutions and technologies for clients.
- Support onboarding of new Junior technicians.
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client configurations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their IT needs and provide timely updates on support tickets.
- Be available for on-call hours once a month to address urgent client needs outside of regular business hours.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- Candidate must be able to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of MSP tools and platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Experience working in a managed service provider (MSP) environment.
