Job Description
AVP, Finance Application Technology Program Manager, Synchrony Bank, Stamford, CT. Collaborate with project stakeholders and Technology Agile teams to build high quality solutions. Understand all aspects of the project lifecycle with focuses on business analysis, root cause analysis, requirement definition and finalizing project scope, driving optimal solutions, project planning and execution including post-production validation meeting regulatory demands. Develop documents in Agile methodologies and/or Waterfall SDLC to support project delivery. Engage in cross-functional reviews and explain overall requirements to various Application Owners. Develop creative solutions to overcome prioritization conflicts, budget challenges and time constraints. Provide support during all stages of the project’s lifecycle, break through bottlenecks and keep projects on track. Develop and implement best practices that seek efficiency in program execution. Adhere to all policies, procedures and controls as defined by the company, identify, and develop plans to rectify any policy deficiencies.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

Must have experience with/in:
· Delivering technology needs to support Regulatory reporting, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Workforce planning, and Cash Flow forecasting tools;
· Using at least three (3) of the following Project Management tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, MS PowerPoint, and/or Visio;
· AxiomSL application and Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion/EPBCS;
· Knowledge in Program and Project Management (Scope, Risk, Resource, Planning and Stakeholder Management);
· Build relationships and negotiate solutions whilst liaising between business, operations, and technology; and
· Delivering technology program and managing delivery of complex technology programs.
