This role will be accountable for identifying ingredients and technologies for creating products to ensure the best net value, consumer acceptance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Drive innovation in personal care wet wipes. Analyze the market to identify opportunities and develop novel wet wipe solutions, product ideas, and concepts.
*To align with evolving customer preferences and to maintain a competitive edge, explore and integrate innovative technologies and market trends into product design.
*Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, showcasing product features, benefits, and technological advancements to support sales and marketing efforts.
*Work seamlessly across various departments to ensure cohesive product development and execution strategies, enhancing the overall value proposition of our products.
*Collaborate effectively with Project and Commercial teams to provide comprehensive technical support for global projects and customers.
*Collaborate with strategic suppliers to identify new opportunities, improve manufacturing efficiency, and optimize costs.
*Work closely with Quality Assurance to promptly resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
* Manage and update specifications for ingredients and formulations, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date and providing technical details for each product. Directly engage with Customers for tailored support and information exchange.
*Organize product testing and studies, including preservative efficacy, performance, safety, stability, and other technical evaluations. This involves the interpretation and reporting of findings.
*Ensure that all products comply with all regulatory and safety regulations and guidelines.
*Ensure that all formulations do not knowingly infringe on valid intellectual property.
*Investigate and implement new testing methods to substantiate product performance and/or efficiency claims of a new or existing products or formulations. This may involve liaising with external laboratories and consultants.
* Coordinate pilot trials and provide technical support. Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve trial goals, establish initial product specifications, assess outcomes, and recommend appropriate actions
*Ensure laboratory safety policies and guidelines are followed and carry out all laboratory work in a safe manner.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
*B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Natural Science, Engineering (General), Chemical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
*4 years' experience in product development required, quality systems and formulation development knowledge a plus.
*Experience in wet wipes development is a strong plus.
*Proven written and verbal skills.
*Must have the ability to independently manage multiple projects, with timelines.
*Able to design and execute an experiment and interpret results.
*Must be willing to travel as needed to Rockline manufacturing sites as well as to customers and external vendors.
