Summary: As part of a mission-centric, locally delivered, and nationally powered organization this role is accountable for the implementing procedures and programs that support the strategic development of Athletic Initiatives events, and programs. This includes ideating and creating new events and managing projects that apply to the entire Athletics offering.

Reports to: Director, Strategy & Development

Leads: Project teams (internal and external) as applicable

  • Goals: Strategy and Project Management
  • Geography: Nationwide
  • Internal Partners: CE, CDS, IT, Philanthropy
  • External Relationships: Strategic Vendors
  • Revenue Accountability: All Athletics (Adventure, Run/Walk and Cycle)
  • Strategic Accountability: Execution of opportunities for strategy development that will improve the Athletics campaign offering. Project management leadership as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mission Integration

  • Partner with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.

Project Management

  • Manages tracking/reporting and special projects related to business intelligence and strategic analytics.
  • Analyze and report C360 Data Integrity, Data Entry, and KPIs.
  • In partnership with the Director of Strategy and Development, leads in budgeting and forecasting planning and execution.
  • Leads projects related to fundraising incentives and identifies/executes changes in the program that improve the participant experience.
  • As applicable, act as the liaison to IT to ensure current and future fundraising and CRM platform continues to meet initiative needs.
  • As applicable, act as the liaison to Finance for budgeting and revenue allocation.
  • Lead on auditing information on The DROP for athletics and act as lead for updating information.
  • Manage vendors that provide services to Athletics events/sports. Evaluate their offerings and make recommendations on changes that improve the participant experience.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' relatable experience.
  • Ability to work with a variety of leadership styles.
  • Comfort with getting into the details as necessary.

  • Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize while acting to achieve specific results.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.

  • May be required to move Campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds for various events.
  • LLS has a 35-hour work week
  • The average salary range is $49,000 - $70,000, open to further discussion based on geography.
  • Occasional travel to LLS Athletic Events.
