Job Description
Client Summary:
Founded in 1884, our client is an academic medical center whose Centers of Excellence include cardiovascular care from minimally invasive heart surgery to transplantation, cancer care, stroke care, neuroscience, orthopedics and women's and children's care.

Summary of Need:
  • Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring the patients comply with all safety standards.
  • Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
  • Removing and then replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
  • Maneuvering the MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the correct images.
  • Monitoring patients during scanning and maintaining patients' records.
  • Monitoring MRI equipment functions.
  • Ensuring clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Recognizing abnormalities and irregularities in images.
Additional Remarks:
  • 13 weeks...
  • Day 4x10-Hour (12:30 - 23:00)
  • Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking;
  • All RTO and scheduling requests MUST be included with submission, in the event that the traveler calls out during their assignment they will be required to make up the shift on an alternate day that week. Weekend call outs will result in alternate weekends being scheduled to make up the shift. If there is > 3 call outs the traveler will be requested to add that time onto the end of their contract....
  • 1.5+ Years of experience required...
  • 1p-11:30p /5x8 shifts week...
  • Every other weekend required...
  • Must have current ARRT and BLS...
  • Experience needed in hospital/Acute care settings...
  • Client experience preferred...
