The Director, Advanced and Omni-Channel Analytics is a new leadership role within the Data, Analytics, and Insights function at Ferring. Working with cross functional colleagues such as marketing, market access, analytics, operations etc. this role would be responsible for driving business impact through building and driving adaption of advanced and predictive analytics across Ferring's portfolio of products.

The successful candidate for this role would have deep experience with pharma commercial data assets across different therapeutic areas; experience building and leading advanced analytics functions; working knowledge of AI/ML models; strong communication and influential leadership; continuous drive for innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver the advanced analytics short- and long-term road map both at Brand and Enterprise level.

  • Collaborating with analytics and cross functional partners, assess, optimize, and drive advanced analytics initiatives (such as HCP/Account/Payer/Patient segmentations, Predictive Targeting, Key Driver Analysis, Omni-Channel Investment Optimization, Patient Journey etc.) adhering to continuously evolving business needs and brand strategies.

  • Partnering with marketing, operations, and commercial engagement teams, develop omni-channel analytics capabilities.

  • Guide the organization through innovative approaches especially in areas with limited data availability or ambiguity.

  • Drive adaption of technology and automation to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Lead a team of direct and indirect reports ensuring delivery of timely and highly quality product and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in pharma commercial area, at least 6 of which should be in the advanced analytics area.

  • Prior experience in building and leading advanced analytics functions

  • Graduate Degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research or Business) required.

  • Strong understanding of pharma commercial data and application of the same in multiple Therapeutic areas that includes rare disease, oncology etc., Experience with different drug distribution and delivery channels.

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in influential leadership, establishing new functions, managing a team of direct and indirect reports, navigating in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt to changing priorities of the organization.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Python etc. is required.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $174,000 to $254,150, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
