Job Description
Synchron has an exciting opportunity for an PPBE/POM Analyst to support the Navy.  You will provide strategic and operational level support for Navy programs / projects that influence requirements for afloat and ashore Information Technology (IT) systems, infrastructure, networks, architectures, satellite communications (SATCOM) and associated ground stations, Maritime and Terrestrial Communications Systems, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Spectrum Supportability (SS), nuclear command, control, & communication (NC3), and submarine communications.

Responsibilities:
  • Support PPBE/POM process for a variety of systems that  support ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore, and shore-to-shore interconnectivity infrastructure, to include Navy shore network centric infrastructure nodes interoperable with Joint, Allied, and Coalition operational networks and global data transport.
  • Provide a wide array of analytical, professional, support and administrative services in support of their programs and office.
  • Provide POM and PPBE coordination and development support.
  • Support development of reports of findings
  • Assist the program in providing advisory services for relevant program office technologies
  • Provide additional tasking as requested

Education and Experience requirements:
  • 5 years of overall experience in Tactical Networks and Communication, Command, and Control (C3) programs, projects, and initiatives areas.
  • Working knowledge of the following financial and IT systems databases: RAPS, PBIS, PBIS-IT, DITPR-DON, and DADMS.
  • Comprehensive level of historical cost / budgeting knowledge of and experience working within and across the entire Tactical Networks and Communication, Command, and Control (C3) portfolio.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Travel: potential for travel (less than 10%)
