About This Role:

The Government Proposal and Contract Coordinator plays a key role in winning executable business from government clients and prospects through applying expertise in contract administration and proposal coordination. This role requires experience with government procurement, contract management, and similar skills while leveraging vertical expertise to contribute to the addressable market.

This individual will handle all administrative aspects of proposal and document development, ensuring quality and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow and review of all inputs, and directing production of the final master document.

The ideal candidate must maintain and update critical contract vehicles to ensure continuity of business continuity and ease of purchase for Forrester's government customers.

Job Description:

  • Assist in developing documents and proposals in response to formal agency solicitations. Respond to requests from the sales team.
  • Develop compliant proposal outlines, matrices, and development schedules. Monitor and manage compliance with instructions and deadlines.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal kickoffs, meetings, review sessions, etc.
  • Daily communicate with the capture manager to conduct pre-RFP proposal planning, kickoff, reviews, status meetings, and progress reviews.
  • Ensure timeliness and quality control of all proposals delivered.
  • Collaborate on appropriate tasks with other internal departments, including contracts, finance, legal, product, and pricing to ensure terms and conditions are appropriately assessed and tailored, and proposals are delivered in compliance with all requirements.
  • Maintain templates and continuously improve proposal library assets and draft materials.
  • Edit documents for grammar, style, and content.
  • Support government contract vehicles to ensure "ease of purchase" for Forrester's government customers.
  • Maintain, update, and renew various government GWACs, IDIQs, and BPAs.
  • Collaborate as required with partners in Forrester's finance, legal, and product organizations.
  • Support administrative processes to initiate new government contract vehicles.

Job Requirements:

  • A BA or BS degree.
  • Three to five years of experience in federal contracting, sales, or proposal development is preferred.
  • History of utilizing or managing federal IDIQs (e.g., GSA, FSS, SEWP, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with managing or administering firm-fixed-price contracts is preferred.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The willingness and the ability to operate in a deadline-driven environment to meet submission deadlines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of government procurement policies (FAR and DFAR) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.

This is a temporary role. Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate's primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.

Base salary range: $50/hour - $60/hour

Bonus/Commission Incentive Target: this position is a temporary position and is therefore not eligible to participate in Forrester's variable incentive programs.
