Position Summary

University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.

The Stewardship Data Manager is an integral part of the Donor Relations and Stewardship (DRS) team, responsible for managing stewardship-related data needs and fund management efforts, including those related to donor impact reporting, endowed fund reporting, the Sir Harold Acton donor recognition society, stewardship-related events, and presidential and SVP gift acknowledgements. Strengthen data analysis efforts and establish stewardship metrics that will shape strategic planning in donor relations. Manage stewardship data needs across systems, including Advance/Blackbaud CRM, Award Management, and Ovrture, to ensure continuity and accurate fund management record keeping. Serve as a key thought partner for colleagues in DRS and across UDAR, coordinating across units to establish and maintain more accurate, efficient, and timely data retrievals, updates, and analysis for stewardship related projects.
