Overview

A Literature Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of Inventory Distribution Clerks. He/she assists the Supply Chain Supervisor in managing the day-to-day operation of the literature fulfilment areas. This position will be the primary contact point for our commercial partners regarding new product launch mailings planning, assembly and shipping of literature kits and materials for meetings and events as well as any ad-hoc special projects as requested by the business.

Responsibilities
    Create and maintain schedule for large scale mailings and special projects. Work closely with the Marketing Dept. and keep them informed of progress or any delays.
  • Ensure that all literature orders are picked, packed and shipped on a timely manner.
  • Manage inventories for exhibit equipment, literature, and branded apparel and promotional items
  • Prepare and process address files for labels and mail merges
  • Oversee all functional areas that report to this position and provide technical expertise as needed.
  • Assist Supervisor with ensuring staff is properly trained and all necessary training records are up to date
  • and filed.
  • Participate and/or lead meetings with department staff as needed.
  • Assist Supervisor in implementing department changes and the operation of the department.
  • Support Supervisor with staff concerns, advising of any issues or attention needed
  • Submit IT Requests as needed.
  • Monitor the inventory, perform cycle counts and make corrections as needed and/or communicate to manager as needed.
  • Address customer complaints as reported.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager / Supervisor.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required

3+ years' experience with organizing large scale mailing, UPS WorldShip

Experience in team lead preferred but not required
