Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Loyalty Business Development is responsible for both new partner outreach & current partner management, which includes companies spanning many industries as well as our bank partners. The Senior Analyst is a thought leader with the goal of growing the number of partnerships and enhancing current relationships & marketing activities to grow the impact our partnerships have on our customers.


Essential Functions

  • Develop a point transfer strategy using qualitative & quantitative analysis to effectively manage our relationship with current transfer partners & potential new transfer partners
  • Create & execute a card-linked offer strategy to generate incremental revenue for JetBlue
  • Effectively lead calls with potential & current partners
  • Pair market research with qualitative & quantitative analysis to make strategic partnership decisions that will enhance the value of our TrueBlue Program & credit card portfolio
  • Manage & continually evaluate current partnerships to help grow performance and enhance the value of our TrueBlue Program & credit card portfolio
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations related to all partners: working with our loyalty marketing team, ensuring legal and branding compliance, tracking financial metrics, and budgeting
  • Partner with cross functional teams (IT, Accounting, Finance, Revenue Management, Customer Support, Marketing) to execute on both our strategic direction and activations
  • Evaluate new tech opportunities that will help us scale our partnership business
  • Partner with revenue accounting and marketing analytics teams to ensure all financial reporting and forecasting is accurate and distributed appropriately
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
  • Three (3) years of airline, loyalty, or business development experience
  • One (1) year of experience managing projects and cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong relationship management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple obligations in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be organized
  • A go-getter: coachable, relationship builder, and able to influence with impact
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (25%)
  • Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in business administration or related field
  • Five (5) years of airline, loyalty, or business development experience
  • Three (3) years of experience managing projects and cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to cultivate a broad understanding of the entire TrueBlue program including marketing, operations, metrics, financials/liability, customer service and training
  • Comprehension of loyalty program space
  • Knowledge of airline industry trends and travel technology
  • Marketing Expertise: Knowledge acquisition and engagement strategies, tactics, and tools

Crewmember Expectations

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Minimum 3 days per week in office
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation

  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
