Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is looking for Technician Trainees to participate in our Central Sterile Processing training program. Selected participants will undergo a training program to become fully certified CSP Techs and will have final placements throughout the RWJ Barnabas Health System.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-Time
  • Evening Shift
  • 40 hours/week

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for proper handling and processing of equipment, instrumentation and supplies necessary to perform procedures in the Operating Room

  • Responsible for decontamination, inspection and assembly, sterilization as well as case carts to ensure all necessary items are available for the operating room and all user units
