The Unit Based Education Coordinator is responsibleforplanning and implementing orientation andin-serviceeducation programswith identified instructional outcomes under the direction and guidance of the Administrative Nurse Manager.Teaches pertinentcontent tostaffon the Unit.Contributestothe quality of patient carebyparticipation inqualityimprovement activitiesand research.

EducationandExperienceRequirements:

• Master's Degree - Preferred
• Bachelor'sDegree- Required
• Specialty- Nursing Education, Pediatrics
• 5Years of Work Experience - Required
• Current Licensure asaregistered professional nurse in New York State.
• Experience with Pediatric Cardiac ICU preferred.
