Job Description

Hill International is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio


  • Review change orders for accuracy and appropriateness Preparation of weekly & monthly reports
  • Create/format daily field report and upload
  • Maintain on-site awareness of construction activities in relation to the scope of work and anticipated schedule
  • Monitor onsite safety and OSHA requirements are being followed
  • Verify construction specification compliance
  • Verify RFIs and submittals are in compliance in the field
  • Assist in the resolution of urgent onsite situations
  • Support construction schedule updates and project pay application as needed
  • Support Project Manager as needed for general project management duties
  • Provide and potentially present project status updates as needed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction
  • Experience in the review, creation and management of construction project documentation
  • Knowledge and experience with web-based data management software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to walk job sites for extended periods of time
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings
  • Ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication
