Job Description

Summary

As a Channel Partners Support Specialist focusing on API integrations, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless connections between our company's platform and our network of channel partners. You will collaborate closely with both internal development teams and external partners to ensure smooth integration processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing support.

Essential Job Functions

API Integration Management:

  • Support the integration efforts between our company's platform and various channel partners' API platforms
  • Work closely with internal development teams to understand API requirements and ensure compatibility with partner systems
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation and guidelines for both internal and external use

Technical Support:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support related to API integrations
    • Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with internal development and IT teams to address complex technical challenges

Partner Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners' technical teams
    • Communicate proactively with partners to provide updates on integration progress, resolve issues, and gather feedback
    • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on integration requirements and timelines

Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct thorough testing of API integrations to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards
    • Implement monitoring and performance tracking mechanisms to proactively identify and address any issues or bottlenecks

SLAs:

    • Ensure to track KPIs around the following SLAs
      • Uptime
      • Response time
      • First Call Resolution
      • Resolution


Training and Documentation:

    • Provide training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams on API integration best practices and guidelines
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for API integration processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices

Competencies

  • Proven experience in API integration, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, Postman, Swagger API Documentation, and other relevant web technologies
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, understanding of .NET Core, microservices, MS Azure, GCP and AWS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with external partners
  • Prior experience in technical support or customer-facing roles is a plus
  • Prior experience in the Solar industry is a big plus!

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience minimum

Base Salary
$100,000$125,000 USD
