Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the New York office, where you will join a team of approximately 3,000 colleagues across three New York City office locations. You will manage the operational and strategic aspects of office services and cover various workstreams such as facilities, real estate, security, duplicating, and mailroom services. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from our conference center operations team, consulting, finance, people, external relations, human resources, and legal departments.
What You'll Do
In this role you will oversee our flagship office operations across diverse workstreams within office services.
You will embody a culture of client impact, mentorship, relentless pursuit of excellence, and catalyzing inspiration. You will be a proactive force, adept at hands-on execution and visionary leadership, equipped with financial acumen to drive strategic initiatives while managing day-to-day challenges.
You will lead a dynamic and collaborative work environment for our teams including facilities, security, operations and all other workstreams across the entire Office Services umbrella (including knowledge of our Conference center and cafeteria operations). You will also collaborate closely with global and regional managers for any relevant functions.
You will facilitate discussion across relevant teams to ensure risk mitigation, disaster, and business continuity, in collaboration with firm, New York Office leadership, and other colleagues.
You will apply strategic vision and collaboration with cross-functional teams to actively problem solve the best approach to making the most of our physical space, technology, and processes to ensure an ideal workplace experience for all colleagues.
You will develop and take accountability for the annual budgets of the various Office Services workstreams functions, review and propose appropriate office cost and capital investment levels and cost savings - including full collaboration with firm Real Estate for office renovations, furniture solutions and overall occupancy related projects.
You will develop and implement security plans and create policies and procedures to protect assets, personnel, and information. You will lead, train, and supervise security personnel.
You will conduct regular security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement and manage access control systems to ensure functionality and compliance with firm security.
You will present security improvement plans, build, and manage the departmental budget and lead company emergency response trainings.
You will connect with firm colleagues regionally and bring best practices, ideas, and innovations into the different teams and to the office locations across New York.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant management experience ideally in a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree, with at least one advanced level certification preferred
  • A background in Operations, Office Services, or Facilities and Security management related activities, ideally in a shared services or professional services environment
  • People management experience, with the proven ability to inspire and bring people together
  • Demonstrated expertise in people management, showcasing the ability to inspire and unify teams, coupled with a commitment to nurturing the potential of colleagues to achieve their best
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial management to oversee end-to-end operational budgets with precision and strategic foresight
  • High degree of integrity and judgment
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities, with experience establishing peer-like relationships with senior leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities coupled with strong influencing skills, honed through experience in negotiation
  • Proven project management skills including measurement through Key Performance Indicator's and development of Standard Operating Procedures
