Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading the design and development of software solutions for the enterprise. The lead will work with a team of engineers building software in a collaborative development process/environment.

Responsibilities include:

* Design and implement software solutions, closely collaborating with the development team, as well as data product teams within an agile framework.
* Write manageable, modular code, along with automated unit & integration tests.
* Help release and maintain code and debug production issues.
* Conduct UI/UX design sessions with end-users and produce low-resolution wireframes and prototypes.
* Lead high-level architecture discussions and planning sessions.

* Participate in the code review process by providing feedback on pull requests.
* Provide mentoring and advice for other engineers.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other quantitative disciplines such as Science, Statistics, Economics or Mathematics.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.


Related Experience:
10+ years of development experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core MVC. At least 2+ years of demonstrated success as a technical lead on a team that creates enterprise software.

Must be experienced in developing with Microsoft technology stack.

Experience in optimizing user interfaces for performance. Experience with JSON & API consumption within the interface.

Experienced in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SASS, etc. within the Angular/React/Other frameworks to deliver rich and interactive solutions.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with data product development and Python programming is a plus.

License Certifications:

Certifications in Microsoft Development or Azure Solutions are preferred.

Knowledge:

* Applied knowledge of modern development principles and best practices (Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, unit testing, continuous integration, and deployment)
* Expert knowledge of Net Core, C#
* Expert knowledge of Net, C#
* Expert knowledge of Angular/React/Other Frameworks
* Intermediate to expert knowledge of SQL/NoSQL
* Intermediate to expert knowledge of Agile principles

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $150,000/year to $160,000/year. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
