Responsibilities

As a Resident Manager at Related Companies, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of service and luxury living for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining the physical assets of the property, monitoring the day-to-day operations of an experienced maintenance staff, evaluating the budgets for and financial performance of the property, and - most importantly - cultivating positive, lasting tenant-landlord relationships. The successful candidate will create an attractive, welcoming, and desirable community that embraces all qualified applicants.

Core Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

  • Responsible for the direction and supervision of the maintenance employees.
  • Recommends hiring, terminating, discipline, suspension, promotion and/or rewards for staffing accordance with EEO requirements; Related Management Company's EEO policies and procedures; with federal, state and local Human Rights/Civil Rights Statutes.

Property Operations

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the luxury condo building.
  • Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, including common areas, amenities, and resident spaces.
  • Implement and enforce property policies and procedures.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors to address resident requests promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.

Tenant Relations:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Facilitate effective communication between residents, management, and maintenance staff.
  • Handle resident inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure the property complies with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Oversee emergency procedures and participate in regular safety drills.
  • Address and rectify any safety concerns promptly.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in budget preparation and management.
  • Monitor expenses and work towards cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams as needed.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $130,000 + Discretionary Bonus + On-Site Occupancy

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management with a focus on luxury condo residential buildings .
  • Facilities/Operations experience with strong working knowledge of building systems
  • Requires Valid Chillers License.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with building systems, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in property management software is a plus
